I was born on October 22, 1978 (for those of you who are mentally trying to figure out how old that makes me; I will be hitting the fabulous milestone of 30 this year)! I was born in Charleston, SC in St. Francis Hospital and grew up in Mount Pleasant. I am an only child and, of course, am completely spoiled rotten. The one thing my mother did teach me is that if you want something, you have to work for it...the world does NOT owe you anything. I lived in Awendaw, SC until I was about 18 and then moved to Pennsylvania with my high school sweetheart thinking I would ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after. NOPE...not Cinderella for me! Three years later I moved back to SC where I ran into my husband-a man that I had known from about sixth grade up, but we always ran in different circles, so never dated. We ran back into each other online, and met up for a 3AM Waffle House Breakfast (of course there was alcohol involved!). We got married six weeks later in Las Vegas-and I am living proof that what happens in Vegas, does not always stay in Vegas! He joined the army and we were stationed at Fort Drum, NY; which is about 30 miles from the Canadian Border in upstate New York. I loved it up there, but my husband was always in the field or doing training. So, after our 2nd daughter was born, and I was really sick of the 8 feet of snow, I moved back to SC and bought our first home in Summerville.

I have always had a dream to be a college graduate, and since I am staying at home with the girls until they are both in school, I am achieving that dream! I have already earned my Certificate in Microcomputer Business Applications Software, and my certificate in Bookkeeping and am halfway through an Associate's Degree in Management. If that is not enough to keep my plate full-I have two daughters: Aisley (6) and Ava (2). We have 3 dogs at the moment: Lexi, Muffin, and Snowball; and one neighbor dog that visits and is like our adopted pet Snoopy. We also have a cat(Simba) and two gerbils (Angel and Hammy). Whew! What a house full! I spend any free time that we may have riding our ATV's, camping, hiking, and going and doing anything fun and exciting. I try to take my girls all of the places I missed out on as a child, secretly, I think I am just spoiling them!
